Reviewing the Sukkot Ingathering in Plainfield, Indiana – October 2024
I know you join with me in giving the Lord much praise and appreciation for His presence and help in the Sukkot Ingathering. There is so much to share, review and highlight. It was a great time of rejoicing, receiving the Word of God, and strengthening Kingdom relationships. It is my hope that you opened your heart to all that the Holy Spirit was doing in those hours together under and around the tabernacles. It was sacred to renew relationships and establish new ones.
One personal observation — I was moved, in the moments prior to to each session, as I sensed how much the Holy Spirit was working in the tent of meeting and throughout the property. I like to start on time but I found that I had to be careful about interrupting the flow of holy love that was moving through the place. That flow continued throughout the entire weekend. The moments leading up to any gathering are important but this was different. You were in the Spirit with love and true fellowship and as a result we started in a high and holy place each time.
We want to thank God for protection and for strength. Many had to press through very difficult situations. The Lord helped. We want to thank God for beautiful fall weather. It could have been cold and rainy. We had beautiful clear skies with pleasant temperatures. We want to thank God for all who worked so hard to bring excellence in the Name of Jesus. It was our blessing as Plainfield Christ Fellowship to host the meetings but we did not accomplish that alone. Several came from distances to help and it would not have been the same without you. Thank you to James and Elizabeth, George and Connie, Rick Kilbourne, Pastor Mike and Kathy Douglas, the Parker City youth, Mario Cuellar-Garcia, Jessa Coder, Nathan Abraham, Anna Bryant, Russ Fairchild, and Richie West. Your heart and hands had a great impact on everyone.
We want to thank God for the pastors and ministers who took time to be among us. We were blessed with Rabbi Jerry Miller, Pastor Steve Coder, Pastor Steven Reinhardt, Evangelist James Wright, Pastor Aaron Simms, Pastor Spencer Lloyd, and Pastor Taylor Keller who were used of the Holy Spirit to sow the Word. Jerry and Laurelle Mann along with Stephen and Michelle Carpenter blessed us as we received communion. It was a sacred time. Those who led in worship were anointed. Norman blessed us with his humble presentation of “I would love to tell you what I think of Jesus”. Anna left a permanent mark within us as she sang her song that spoke of being “tethered Your heart.” Taylor declared “these are they who have come out of great tribulation”. What a time!
I want to thank Pastor Steve Coder and the team at the Barn, for partnering with us to lead the Ingathering. Pastor Steve’s heart could be felt throughout. We look forward to an Ingathering at the Barn as the Holy Spirit leads.
Jesus said (Jn 12:32), “If I be lifted up, I will draw all men to myself”. The Greek word for lifted means to exalt. When that happens as it was in the Sukkot Ingathering, our hearts are drawn closer to Him. Jesus was exalted. We were drawn to Him including to His Body. Oneness will only come as Jesus alone is exalted.
The reports I have received are amazing and humbling. God did eternal things in lives. Among other miracles, chains were released so we can walk in lives of obedience, victory and freedom. The fruit of that is already visible. I want to encourage you to send me any report or review you might have. You may do so by sending an email to jerry@gopcf.com. You can also send mail to PCF, P.O. Box 22, Plainfield, IN 46168.
Finally, I would like to invite you to join with us in prayer on the Saturday morning Prayer Connection. It is a one hour call beginning @ 10 (EST) where we allow the Holy Spirit to take us in prayer for that which is part of His sovereign plan. The Prayer Connection was initiated over 5 years ago to be a strength and encouragement to those who pray. It remains a blessing and often there are nearly 100 pray-ers on the line. You will be joining in fellowship with people from all over the nation. If you fill out the form below you will receive a weekly reminder with instructions about how to call in.
I also lead a prayer session each Friday morning @ 9 (EST) for men who value agreed prayer. We never know how the Lord will lead. This morning, we prayed and shared about keeping our hearts through all situations. It is always a great blessing and strength. You can also sign up below to get reminders/instructions about this hour of prayer.
Thank you for joining in the Sukkot Ingathering including those who are watching the recordings online. His Kingdom is in the midst.
